Armadale MLA, Dr Tony Buti, welcomes the McGowan government investment it local school upgrades.

“Our local schools do a fantastic job providing a first class education for our students, however some of our older schools are in need of an upgrade,” Dr Buti said.

“This investment will help bring them up to current standard and will be welcomed by the schools’ students and staff.”

“Three schools in the Armadale area will receive funding from the McGowan government’s $5.6million improvements and upgrades program,” Dr Buti said.

Local schools to receive funds for toilet upgrades are:

  • Challis Community Primary School $100,000
  • Kingsley Primary School             $150,000
  • Neerigen Brook Primary School   $60.000

Dr Buti said, “All works are expected to be finished by the end of the year.”
